Various events are held throughout the year in Japan. In spring, there are "hanami" events to celebrate the blooming of cherry blossoms, and many people gather in parks all over the country. In summer, "summer festivals" and "fireworks displays" are held all over the country, and people dressed in traditional yukata robes enjoy them. In autumn, "autumn leaf viewing" is popular, and many tourists visit places where you can see the beautiful autumn leaves. In winter, "snow festivals" and "Christmas markets" are held, and Sapporo's Snow Festival is particularly famous for its giant snow sculptures. Other traditional festivals are held all over the country, such as the "Gion Festival" in Kyoto and the "Sanja Festival" in Tokyo. Japanese events are a great opportunity to enjoy the nature and culture of each season.
